Fortunately, you have intercepted messages from this region of space before and are familiar with the alphabet and common punctuation

There seems to be a couple of small, periodic messages emanating from this region of space, as shown below - the message contents are unknown, but these might be easier to decode first

There are also the rarer, larger transmissions - this is what your civillisation is really interested in decoding
